Julie Chen Moonves will host the popular reality show that has been a summer sensation Big Brother. The show is set to return to CBS on 5 August for its third season. Chen Moonves has been involved in The Talk since 2010, in which she served as both moderator and host. Her true passion was when she began writing her own show and won an Emmy. The fact that she hosted an amazing entertainment talk show earned her an additional Emmy. The Talk is a show which examines the current news with five female host. Chen Moonves co-hosted CBS News' weekday morning program The Early Show in 2002 in 2010 and then became the host of the talk show. Before that she was the news anchor of The Early Show and anchor for the CBS Morning News, the CBS Television Network's early-morning, half-hour broadcast.Chen Moonves covered several major news events on The Early Show, including the war of 2003 in Iraq. The anchor was escorted to Cairo in the aftermath of 9/11, and she conducted an exclusive and riveting conversation with the father of 9/11's principal hijacker. Before The Early Show she was the reporter for WDTN TV Dayton in Dayton, Ohio (1995-1997). Prior to joining CBS News, Chen Moonves was a reporter for WDTN-TV Dayton (1995-1997). Also, she worked for ABC NewsOne from 1992-1995. She started her career as an assistant at ABC News, working on the late-night program Nightline with Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel is still among Moonves' journalistic heroes. Chen Moonves, who won Columbia du-Pont for the primetime Anatomy of a Riot special which explored the 1992 Los Angeles riots, worked with Koppel.
